Jellof Rice Recipe


















I love this delicious rice... when its been served with salad, plantain and chicken.....  let's see how we can cook this....

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
  • 2 tin of tomatoes or 5 fresh tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 5 medium size of fresh pepper
  • 2 tablespoon crayfish (grounded)
  • 3 cups of rice
  • 6 medium size of meat
  • Desired quantity groundnut oil
  • Desired quantity of curry, thyme for your flavour
  • salt to taste
  • water
If you get all the items listed above, then you are good to go......

HOW TO COOK:
  1. Put the thoroughly washed meat inside pot and boil, add curry, thyme, onion, salt and seasoning to taste.
  2. Allow to boil till tender, remove from fire. (You can fry the meat if you wish) 
  3. Per boil the rice for some minutes, wash and dry to remove surplus starch.
  4. Blend part of tomatoes, onions all together with fresh pepper and crayfish, the slice the remaining tomatoes.
  5. Heat the groundnut oil on fire, the add the slice onions, add slice tomatoes and fry very well.
  6. Add the grounded mixture, add the cooked meat, the water that contains the curry, thyme, salt and seasoning.
  7. All to boil for some minutes, then pour rice and stir very well, allow to boil gently and do not stir again when the rice is soft.
  8. Now you are done, you can now serve with fried egg, plantain, meat, beans, moi-moi or vegetable.
Now you can cook enjoy your meal.....
