
Alright.... we have the interest in preparing the Nsala soup as you can see that in the picture above, this is a native food of Awka and some northern part of the state, it's a nice soup to try.... if you can just give it a shot.

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
- 1 medium size of smoked fish
- 1 and half kg of goat meat
- 2 tablespoon pepper (grounded)
- 1 small size of onion bulb
- Desired quantity of castor oil (ogiri)
- 1 liter of water
- Small quantity of uziza seed
- 1 large fresh fish
- Salt to taste
- 2 cubes of seasoning
- 1 medium size of utazi leaf
HOW TO COOK:
- Boil the thoroughly washed goat meat for some minutes with salt and onion.
- Add fresh smoked fish, crayfish and pepper.
- Add more water and allow to boil.
- Add small quantity of cocoyam paste and stir, add grinded uziza leaf, seasoning, utazi leaf and allow to boil.
- The soup should be watery and not thick.
- Now you are done, bring out from fire and serve with your favourite, or with garri, fufu, pounded yam
