Afang Soup Recipe


















Afang soup is one of the best african soup also known as Ofe Ukazi the soup is so delicious if well cooked, and the taste is Mmmm!.

Well let hope to cook it someday, you can do that if only you follow the drill down here... no stress, get it straight...

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
  • 1 Medium size of stock fish
  • 5 Medium size of meat and dried fish
  • 4 Medium size of cow skin (Kpomo)
  • 1 Medium size of dry fish
  • 1 Medium cup of periwinkle
  • 3 Cooking spoon pal oil
  • 1 Medium cup of crayfish
  • 1 Medium bunch of Afang leaf (pounded)
  • Desired quantity of pepper water
  • 1Medium of onion
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Cubes of seasoning
 Cool! we are ready to go.....

HOW TO COOK:
  1. Put the thoroughly washed meat, stock fish, dried fish and cow skin (Kpomo) in a pot.
  2. Add salt with little water and boil for about 30 minutes.
  3. Put the water leaf in another pot and cook till it dry water then remove from fire.
  4. Add palm oil to the boiling pot of meat, dried fish, stock fish and cow skin.
  5. Add crayfish, pepper, periwinkle, seasoning and salt.
  6. Allow to boil for some minutes, now add water leaf and the pounded afang leaf.
  7. Stir and allow to boil for about 5 minutes,
  8. You are done, remove from fire. Now you can serve with garri or fufu.
