
If you need a special woman that knows how to cook the soup called edikang ikong soup, book your flight to calabar. that is what they are known for.... well about the taste, dude believe me you will bit off your finger if you try the soup when it is well prepared.
Alright then, let's see what gonna happen.... i know you wanna give it a try...
INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
- 10 Medium size of Bush meat
- 5 Medium size of cow skin (Kpomo)
- 4 Medium size of cow tail
- 1 Medium size of stock fish Head
- Smoked fish
- Crayfish (Grounded)
- Desired pepper (Grounded)
- 2 Medium cup of periwinkle
- 1 Medium size of pumpkin leaf
- 1 Medium size of water leaf
- 1 Medium onion
- Salt to taste
- 2 Cubes of seasoning and water
HOW TO COOK:
- Wash thoroughly the meat, cow tail, cow skin, stock fish and the smoked fish
- Put all the washed items inside a pot, add onion, pepper, salt, seasoning and little water, then boil for some minutes.
- Boil the water leaf in another pot till the water dry, remove from fire and replace the main pot.
- Add palm oil, crayfish, pepper, the washed periwinkle
- Then start cutting the pumpkin leaf.
- Allow the items on (Step 4) to boil, the add salt, seasoning, water leaf and the sliced pumpkin leaf.
- Stir and allow to boil for about 5 minutes.
- Done, remove from fire and serve with your favourite, either garri, fufu or pounded yam.
